Job Description
Position Summary:

Enidine is searching for an experienced Supplier Quality / Development Engineer to support the supply chain team in the development, onboarding, and growth of its Global Supply Chain. In this role, you will be assisting our suppliers with all manufacturing or quality issues they may encounter. This includes support of new product introduction (NPI), engineering change notifications (ECN) and suppler request for waiver/deviation (SRFWD). Manage audits and surveillance of the Approved Supplier List- ASL. You will be an active participant in Endine’s sourcing strategies by providing supplier performance criteria driven from supplier scorecards, supplier onsite audits and root cause corrective actions.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manage audits and surveillance of the Quality Approved Supplier List, ensuring capabilities are up to date and compliance to all AS9100 requirements are met, as applicable.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Supplier Quality Management process to ensure excellent quality at competitive cost of purchased materials, components and/or services.
  • Support the fabrication of complex machined parts and sub-assemblies by providing technical expertise and support for suppliers.
  • Coordinate with various departments and team members to understand design intent and communicate design intent to the suppliers.
  • Support MRB Manage supplier non-conformance including root cause and corrective action holding supplier accountable (SCAR).
  • Responsible for communicating technical aspects of nonconformances to Suppliers
  • Manage Supplier pass-through Quality escapes investigations with a sense of urgency, driving for root cause, immediate containment and corrective actions.
  • Perform supplier audits, analyze processes and procedures, risk mitigation assessments, provide technical support promoting productivity improvements and or cost reduction opportunities.
  • Assess non-conformance / audit findings and lead closure of supplier actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with engineering, site quality, and operations to provide urgent response to supplier requests for information.
  • Develop, collect, and analyze Supplier Quality metrics quantifying risk and communicating risks to management while identifying solutions to mitigate risk.
  • Issue Supplier Performance scorecard monthly to all inventory suppliers, implement supplier development plan with select suppliers.
  • Support the procurement of components for new product introduction (NPI)
    Provide input on design data shared with suppliers in terms of process capability, design for manufacturability, process improvement, defect prevention, measurement techniques, secondary processing, and interpretation of specifications to reduce defect rates
  • Review Supplier First Articles and communicate disposition to suppliers and organization as needed.
  • Author or revise procedures to support the Quality Management System
Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of Manufacturing / Quality experience
  • Certifications in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies
  • Preferred experience in a Supply Chain Manufacturing role within the Aerospace or Automotive Industry
  • Competent in AS9100 standards
  • Experience with PPAP submissions and APQP
  • Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal / organizational skills, and be able to demonstrate an ability to understand complex regulations and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to influence and present information in front of groups, both internal and external.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
