The Stellantis Purchasing organization is seeking a Supplier Diversity Program Manager. This role is an integral part of the Stellantis Purchasing organization and supports the implementation of strategic programs for the Diversity Supplier Development (DSD) department and the group’s business stakeholders (internal and external).
Specific responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
Execute the Diversity Supplier Development 5-year Strategic Business Plan among assigned Purchasing Organization Commodity Buying Teams
Develop relationships with Diverse Automotive Suppliers, and promote networking relationships between suppliers and commodity buying teams to support Stellantis Purchasing Organization Goals
Work with external supplier diversity partner councils (MBE Councils, WBE Councils, Veterans Councils, Disability Councils, LGBTQ Councils) to support programs, and create opportunities for diverse suppliers to grow business and support Stellantis Purchasing Goals
Participate in automotive industry supplier diversity conferences and trade shows to learn best practices and network with suppliers for consideration of Stellantis /Tier I Supplier Partnerships
Lead consultation efforts with High Focus/At Risk Suppliers to determine business challenges, and root causes for underperformance to promote a more sustainable and profitable diverse supplier network in support of DSD Goals
Support the Commodity Buying Teams by working hand-in-hand to provide them monthly updates regarding diverse supplier spend performance metrics, and leveraging data to provide strategic recommendations to target opportunities to support Purchasing Organization Goals
Lead training initiatives across all stakeholders to educate stakeholders on supplier diversity requirements, programs, and systems
Support the management and upkeep of Stellantis DSD Website to ensure all content is updated and available for all business stakeholders
Participate in DSD matchmaking events to identify qualified candidates and promote Stellantis DSD department within the community
Develop relationships with other supplier diversity professionals to share best practices and ideas
Perform other duties that support the success of Stellantis supplier diversity efforts as requested
