Supervisor, Environmental Services 2nd Shift

The Shift Supervisor directs assigned housekeeping personnel in the use of proper housekeeping and sanitation practices throughout the facility during their respective shift; coordinates, directs and inspects the work of assigned personnel; conducts training and insures compliance with all JCAHO regulations and Mercy policies. Submits supply and minor equipment requirements to Operations Manager for action; Fills in during personnel shortages as required: assists Operations Manager in providing outstanding customer service.

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years as general houskeeper with floor technician experience.
• Must be able to operate all housekeeping equipment; i.e., High-Speed Buffer, Floor Scrubber, Stripper, Barnisher, etc.
