The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Centralized Operations team. The Centralized Operations team is responsible for servicing existing Hedge Fund clients and assisting with the conversion and implementation of future business. The Specialist is responsible for all aspects of the relationship including supporting SEI’s proprietary workflow system, the portfolio accounting system (Geneva), and supplemental systems/technology. You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable explaining processes both over the phone and in face to face meetings with clients. Ideally, you will be proficient with Microsoft Excel & Access and be comfortable working/manipulating data. You are also required to have a thorough understanding of processes and procedures of a Hedge Fund's Operations, and be able to discuss our service offering in detail.
What you’ll do:
› You will serve as main daily client contact, cultivating and maintaining close relationships with clients through proactive measures and written/verbal communication.
› You will be responsible for coordinating internal SEI resources on behalf of client (COPs, Technology, Reconciliation, Accounting, Middle Office, etc.).
› You will work to identify, resolve, and /or escalate critical issues.
› You will serve as representative for each client with the various third party vendors used by the teams. You are also responsible for coordinating all new business setups.
› You will develop/document processes and controls for enhancements to our Alternative Fund Administration offering.
› You will manage client and internal expectations for ad hoc requests
› you will be required to take a consultative approach with client project requests and recommend best practices, prioritize, scope, and implement when necessary custom specifications.
› You will work with the team to continually define our service offering and manage client expectations.
› Keep up-to-date on industry initiatives. Train and supervise analysts on systems, processing, procedures, and job responsibilities.
› You must be comfortable working with various file and data formats.

What you bring to the table:
› BS/BA degree in accounting, finance, business or related field, or the equivalent in education and work experience.
› Minimum 2 years financial service experience.
› Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication and meticulous attention to detail.
› Detail oriented.
› Strong aptitude for numbers.
› Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
› Ability to work independently and with others in an effective and professional manner.
› Strong interest in creating meaningful business solutions.
