Requirements
A Supervisor, Account Management is a key role within the agency. This role is a fast-paced position within the agency requiring strong communication skills, the ability to multi-task, a laser focus on client growth and relationship building the ability to collaborate across internal teams efficiently and effectively.
The Supervisor, Account Management will be tasked with owning and growing higher level client relationships including at some strategic accounts within the portfolio. The expectation of this role is that growth-oriented conversations are occurring regularly with the client including important relationship building activities like client lunches, dinners and entertaining. Client stakeholders should be eager to call their Supervisor, Account Management seeking guidance on strategy.
This role has more responsibility over driving revenue growth and will need to maintain an ongoing list of sales initiatives and identify the data points/insights needed to bring upsell opportunities to the client.
Who You Are:
The Supervisor, Account Management will assist the Associate Director on scoping/staffing needs where necessary and appropriate and will assist in revenue forecasting. They will also maintain oversight over all aspects of client finance and tracking to ensure everything is in order.
This role must have and maintain a solid baseline understanding of all media channels and strategies and know how to speak to their value at the point of the client. This role is highly strategic in nature and must always be on the lookout for potential growth and revenue opportunities and be able to position these opportunities at the point of the client. This person is never satisfied with the status quo. They have a growth mentality and are constantly pushing to build and expand relationships, achieve higher level relationships within the client and find ways to generate more revenue for JUST Global and improve client performance
What You’ll Do:
- Client communication- email, phone, in person and entertaining (lunch, dinner, events)
- Where required, act as primary client contact
- Where possible and within scope, delegate day to day client communication to a Manager, Account Management and oversee their work while maintaining lines of communication higher in the client org
- Manage, review and analyze all client facing deliverables to ensure quality and strategic alignment
- Ensure all key presentations have rehearsal and practice sessions and help lead those discussions in partnership with the Associate Director
- Highly effective in person presenting that results in increased budgets and high client satisfaction
- Collaborate with Account Team leads, strategy team and internal specialists in creation of overall campaign strategy including media, data and creative elements
- Oversee internal team collaboration with media services and creative
- Ensure there meeting notes are always kept and that the team is communicating effectively with internal teams via meeting recaps and briefings with action items clearly outlined with context
- Identify potential revenue opportunities and bring them to clients
- Track progress of sales/upsell/growth efforts and report to internal stakeholders
- Assist in team staffing/scope development
- Ensure we update the revenue forecast revenue monthly and keep up to date ongoing as things change
- Oversee account team client finance tracking to ensure the team is keeping all aspects up to date and accurate including invoice, PO, SOW, payments.
- Monitor SLAs and ensure work stays on track
- Track hours on a weekly and monthly basis to monitor “burn rate” on hourly/retainer-based projects and communicate updates proactively to the Account Leader and client as directed
- Maintain Market Knowledge- Client/industry updates, media/marketing/advertising updates/best practices and innovations
- Maintain 1:1 sync with direct reports, goal setting and performance evaluations
