Summer 2021 Paid Internships

Minority Access is seeking to employ interns during the summer of 2021 and place hired interns in federal government sites located in Washington DC; New York City; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Providence, RI and San Francisco, CA. To apply you MUST be: a U.S. Citizen, Pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university, Have a minimum 3.0 GPA, Reside in or have housing in the geographical area of the internship site, Available to work 10 weeks beginning June 7, 2021 until August 13, 2021 (40 hours per week Monday thru Friday) Due to COVID-19, teleworking may be available. All placements are PAID summer internships.

• Washington DC intern placements (12 needed) are for Supervision Support, HQ Staff Support, Bank Examiners, Law Offices, Risk Analyst & Executive Assistant interns. Applicants must be majoring in one of the following fields: Accounting, Business, Computer Science, Communications, Data Science, Economics, Finance, Graduate School Law Student (JD), Human Resource, Mathematics, MIS, Pre-Law, Public Policy, Statistics, or Web/Electronic Publishing. Applicants must have a college classification of Junior, Senior or Grad School.
• New York City intern placements (8 needed) are for Bank Examiners, Risk & Operations Analyst, and IT Customer Support. Applicants must be majoring in one of the following fields: Accounting, Banking, Business, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or Law. Applicants must have a college classification of Junior, Senior or Grad School.
• Boston, MA & Providence, RI intern placements (2 needed) are for Bank Examiners. Applicants must be majoring in one of the following fields: Accounting, Banking, Business, Economics, or Finance. Applicants must have a college classification of Junior or Senior.
• Charlotte, NC intern placements (3 needed) Retail and Commercial Credit Review Analyst. Applicants must be majoring in one of the following fields: Accounting, Banking, Business, Economics, or Finance. Applicants must have a college classification of rising Junior or rising Senior.
• Cincinnati, OH intern placement (1 needed) for Examiner's Office to assist with asset management, commercial real estate. Applicants must be majoring in one of the following fields: Banking, Business, Economics, or Finance. Applicants must have a college classification of Junior or Senior.
• Columbus, OH intern placement (1 needed) for an Examiner/Analyst to perform report analysis and editing plus assist with bank examinations. Applicants must be majoring in one of the following fields: Banking, Business, Economics, or Finance. Applicants must have a college classification of Junior or Senior.
• Dallas, TX & Irving, TX intern placements (2 needed) for Risk & Operations and Comptrollers Office to conduct analysis of systemic risk and financial performance in district banks, and review/monitor financial portfolio condition of banks. Applicants must be majoring in one of the following fields: Accounting or Finance. Applicants must have a college classification of Sophomore, Junior or Senior.
• San Francisco, CA intern placement (1 needed) for Bank Examiner to assist with compliance strategy, audits and presentations. Applicants must be majoring in one of the following fields: Accounting, Banking, Business, Economics or Finance. Applicants must have a college classification of Junior or Senior.
