Pre-Kindergarten Substitute Teacher (possibility of being long-term)

Treehouse Pre-K - San Francisco, CA

Located in San Francisco's Miraloma Park, Treehouse Pre-K is a home-based pre-kindergarten program founded in 2000. Our developmental approach to education provides opportunities for child-centered, hands-on learning and socialization in an intimate setting.

We are currently looking to hire a Substitute Pre-Kindergarten Teacher (with the possibility of being long-term) to join our San Francisco team (there are currently substitute dates in October to be filled). The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience as a Pre-K teacher, or relevant experience. If you have Early Childhood Educational Units or Childhood Development units, we encourage you to apply!

We are proudly maintain a safe, clean, environment with LOW ratios to help ensure a quality preschool environment. We have a 1:4 teach to child ratio! We have a number of safety precautions in place to ensure everyone is healthy, happy, and feels secure during this unprecedented time.

Qualifications and Responsibilities

• 1-2 years of experience as a Pre-K Teacher

• Great with kids, patient and kind

• CPR Certified

• ECE units are preferred but not required for this position

• Maintain a safe and clean environment

• Knows how to take initiatives, collaboratives, fun and creative

• Demonstrate commitment to our kids and their families needs

• Punctuality is a must

Benefits / Compensation

• $23 - $26 per hour

• Paid Time off

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
