Alcohol & Substance Abuse Counselor
Innovative Health Systems is an outpatient addiction treatment facility located in White Plains, NY. Innovative Health Systems is licensed by the State of New York’s Office of Alcoholism & Substance Abuse Services and is looking for a full-time Alcohol & Substance Abuse Counselor . Experience with substance abuse disorders and a wide range of mental health disorders a plus. Schedule is M-F and may include evenings. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities include:

1) Provide individual counseling and case management services to clients;

2) Lead group counseling sessions;

3) Maintain timely documentation including progress notes, group notes, treatment plans;

4) Conduct intakes, level of care determinations, psychiatric screening, bio-psychosocial assessments and involve family members in treatment;

5) Participation in case conferences, in-service trainings and individual supervision;

6) Additional duties will be determined by the Clinical Director.

Must be a QHP and hold at least one of the following: LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, LCAT, LMHC, CASAC, or CASAC-T and have at least 1 year experience in mental health and/or alcoholism and drug treatment.

Bilingual- Spanish Speaking a plus
