Who You Are:You’re a highly organized and motivated individual. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and can multitask effectively. You’re able to work with sales peers globally to meet our customers’ needs related to content access and billing. You also strive to develop and implement creative solutions to improve processes and fix issues. Because of your exceptional communication and collaboration skills, you’re often the go-to person for both your peers and business partners when they need help. This position reports to the Revenue Accounting Manager.
Your Next Challenge:Reviewing complex revenue contracts and determining proper revenue allocation and deferrals Helps to identify contracts that may require special revenue recognition treatment Effectively prioritizes workload while juggling a high volume of contracts, taking into consideration differing time zones Communicates with Global Sales team for resolution on questions and problems related to contracts Sets up proper billing of customer contracts in the system so that customers are invoiced and content access is in accordance with their contract Maintains contract files in an organized manner Mentor and guide newer team members on subscription processes and best practices Uncovers hidden problems and takes initiative to apply effective solutions
What You’ll Need:AA or BA in accounting preferred, or relevant work experience Desired 1 to 2 years relevant accounting experience, preferably accounts receivable Strong computer skills in Word and Excel Ability to effectively prioritize workload and work under tight deadlines Self-motivated to drive results and get things done Strong communication skills – both verbal and written – taking into consideration language barriers and cultural differences Ability to work productively in a changing environment Strong attention to detail Driven to provide high level of customer service, meeting the expectations of both internal and external employees and customers
