Amazon Imaging is a global organization partnering with Amazon business teams to enable customers to make informed purchasing decisions driving discovery, engagement and trust through product imagery, videos, 3D and graphics. Every item in Amazon’s catalog should have a set of visual representations that characterize the product accurately and are visually appealing, enabling the customer to receive at their doorstep exactly what they expect upon an order.

As a Studio Procurement Specialist for Amazon Imaging, you will support our Fashion Photo Studio procurement responsibilities, including purchase order creation for external talent, invoicing, creating receipts for goods orders and monitoring of funds to ensure daily financial accuracy of talent booked and invoiced against is accurate.
You will provide procurement expertise for the Studio and work closely with Studio Producers and Studio leadership teams to drive efficiencies and improvements.

  • Final review and release of regional invoices
  • Support financial tracking by performing high volume invoice intake and reconciliation
  • Cross-referencing invoices against work dates performed and vendor details to ensure accuracy
  • Manage all purchasing requests for imaging studio external talent
  • Trouble shoot incorrect invoice postings and closely work together with Vendors, Accounts Payable and Tax Team for resolution
  • Ensure all projects/requests are accompanied by completion dates and manage multiple priorities therein
  • Help improve the current regional imaging procurement process
  • Carry out procurement responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
  • Preparation and double check of month end figures, review of month-end accruals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to communicate across business areas
  • Working knowledge of LEAN and SIX SIGMA methodologies and familiarity with procurement software tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Proven success with supporting and/or leading large scale cross-functional projects
  • Familiarity with procurement software tools, i.e. Oracle Financials, and trouble ticket systems
  • Previous experience in a photo studio or creative agency environment
  • Experience with SQL and other data visualization tools
  • Completed Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field, OR 2+ years of Amazon experience.
