The STS Compensation & Benefits Associate is responsible for utilizing basic research skills to develop reports and analyses that assist clients in developing total compensation opportunities for executives, outside directors and key employees that support the interests of investors, comply with SEC reporting requirements and have a tax-efficient design.

The STS Compensation & Benefits Associate is responsible for utilizing basic research skills to develop reports and analyses that assist clients in developing total compensation opportunities for executives, outside directors and key employees that support the interests of investors, comply with SEC reporting requirements and have a tax-efficient design.
Qualifications
Education:- Bachelor’s degree, required
- Masters of Taxation or Accounting, preferred
Experience:
- Prior internship or work-study opportunity, preferred
Software:
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint, preferred
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels
- Strong analytical and basic research skills
- Solid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
- Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
- Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Basic knowledge and understanding of legislative process regarding tax policy
