Structural Engineer

Maxwell-Reddick & Associates, Inc. ('M-R') is seeking a qualified licensed structural engineer to lead and grow a structural engineering department through our offices located in Statesboro, GA and/or Alpharetta, GA. The candidate can be located in either office but will need to work remotely with staff between offices as required to meet project objectives and deadlines.

• Requisite experience should include performing typical structural engineering designs, calculations, and producing construction plans for foundations, structures, etc. at industrial plants for current contracted projects. Experience in designing building structures for commercial and governmental type buildings is a plus in order to expand M-R's structural engineering services to include "designated structures" requiring an SE License in GA.
• The candidate should be proficient in writing reports, completing evaluations, performing field inspections and observations during construction.
• The candidate should be proficient in performing structural engineering calculations using hand calculations as well as software such as Risa 3D, Risa Foundations, etc. The candidate should be experienced and proficient in using AutoCAD as well as Revit for plan production.
• The candidate will be required to lead a team of junior engineers in order to effectively produce designs, plans, and meet project deadlines.
• The candidate will be required to work in a team environment that includes outside professionals such as mechanical engineers, architects, developers, owners, etc. to meet project objectives and deadlines.
• Position requires at a minimum a GA SE License, licensure in other states is a plus.
