We are seeking a seasoned and motivated Strategic Communications Writer to create compelling narratives and materials about our company, products, technology, and industry trends in support of the company's growth, brand awareness, and thought leadership objectives. As a member of C3 AI's growing marketing team, the Strategic Communications Writer will drive a variety of writing and editing projects, including a weekly employee newsletter, digital content, corporate communications, brand building, social media, blogs, product information, sales enablement, and events.

This role is integral in creating the communications content that underpin C3 AI's marketing. This position requires a high level of creativity and initiative, as well as the ability to conduct research, interview senior executives, and use data-driven insights to write compelling content of various lengths and formats. Top-notch written and verbal communications, outstanding organizational skills, and high attention to detail are a must.

Candidates should be able to understand complex details across business and technology, business processes, and economic value, and communicate that complexity with simplicity and clarity across media. A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment and demonstrate an ability to execute precisely and quickly. He or she must possess an understanding of enterprise software and have writing samples that showcase a range of styles covering business-related topics.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Regularly produce various long- and short-form content, including in-depth case studies, white papers, blogs, op-eds, speeches/scripts/talking points, press releases, web content, emails, and social media posts
  • Collaborate with Creative Services in developing strategic presentations for CEO/executive keynotes and other high-profile events, shaping the presentation's narrative, structure, and information content
  • Research markets and industries to identify best practices and compelling content
  • Perform primary research for the weekly employee newsletter, blog posts, articles, presentations, white papers, guides, and other content
  • Review and edit content produced by other members of the marketing team
  • Manage content revision and editing process with internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate and brainstorm with other teams to create innovative content ideas

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in English, journalism, marketing, or related field (combination with computer science degree, study or certification is a plus)
  • 10-12 years minimum experience
  • Stellar writing skills and experience creating long- and short-form content for all B2B marketing channels
  • Understanding of B2B software audiences and purchase cycles
  • Strong research skills and desire to learn about a wide range of topics
  • Proven ability to work effectively with senior executives and lead projects from conception to final execution with excellence
  • Outstanding teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, creative, high energy, and resourceful
  • Results-oriented, committed to quality of product, and exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work under deadline
  • Familiarity with AI/machine learning, IoT, big data, and cloud technology
