Strategic Account Executive- South West

Sitecore is currently looking for a Strategic Account Executive to join our team. As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling Sitecore’s platform into a named account list of large enterprise organizations. We are looking for experienced candidates, who take a consultative, value-based approach to sales. This person will help create and manage business development activities in the South West region.
Position Summary:
As Strategic Account Executive, you will need to understand how to sell web-based solutions, not just software. You will bring value to the sales process through your advanced understanding of key business considerations and challenges and should feel comfortable talking with all levels of a client organization including the C – suite, Marketing, or IT.
This position requires free thinking and self-motivated top performers. This position calls for a driven person who thrives on winning new business, understanding the complex business challenges of your prospects and clearly communicating the value of this solution to various client audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop territory strategies to grow business regionally.
- Close large, complex deals by building value across multiple executive level stakeholders
- Target and land new accounts in addition to managing existing partners and clients.
- Promote the Sitecore suite of solutions through direct and indirect methods
- Manage and grow a strong Network and oversee the complex sales cycle
- Participate in industry trade shows and conferences
Job Qualifications:
- 10+ years’ experience selling to an enterprise environment, selling Content Management, Customer Experience, Commerce, or Digital Asset Management (DAM) technologies
- Proven Outside/Field sales experience in meeting and exceeding 1M+ quota revenue targets
- Experience selling to VP and C-Level executives
- Ability to demonstrate technology in person and via web presentations
- Strong hunter mentality
- Indirect Sales experience working with channel sales opportunities with Digital Agencies, System Integrators and Web Development organizations in the South West Region
- Possess depth in consultative/solution selling and managing complex 7 figure sales cycles
- Excellent written and verbal communication presentation and relationship management skills
- Required to work well under pressure, adhere to deadlines while maintaining a high standard of professionalism
- Work well independently and collaboratively
- University Degree/College Diploma or equivalent experience
This role can be located remote in any City in the South West near a major airport.
