STORE TEAM LEAD
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:
Engage customers with hospitality and friendliness in all aspects of their experience at Sheetz on a full time pre-set schedule.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (other duties may be assigned)
- Host – serve as a hospitality ambassador by greeting customers, providing assistance, suggestive selling and sampling food and beverage items.
- Prepare Food Items – prepare food items accurately to quality/safety requirements and customer expectations using heating and refrigerating kitchen equipment such as fryers, ovens, prep cooler, etc.
- Prepare Beverage Items – prepare hot and cold beverage items accurately to quality/safety requirements and customer expectations using equipment such as blenders, cappuccino machines, etc
- Complete Register Transactions - complete customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and ensure compliance with applicable age restricted product regulations such as tobacco and alcohol.
- Receive and Stock Supplies – unload supplies from delivery totes, place items in inventory storage such as refrigerators/freezers and stock store shelves and coolers to ensure the availability of all items.
- Clean – complete assigned cleaning tasks to ensure all areas inside & outside of the store are clean and inviting. Areas of focus include counters, floors, restrooms, beverage stations, gas pumps, outside/inside trash bins, parking areas and carwashes where applicable.
- Store Procedures and Team Engagement - support store management by completing essential processes and procedures; may engage the store team with mentorship and recognition opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS: (other duties may be assigned)
Education
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred
- None Required
- Food safety certification preferred
- Federal/State alcohol training certifications (TIPS, RAMP, etc.) preferred
