Steward Supervisor

Location: Pala, CA

To assist the Executive Steward in all phases of kitchen cleaning and sanitation. To instruct dishwashers in proper cleaning and sanitation techniques.

• Minimum two years high volume cooking experience.
• Must read, write and understand English; bilingual ability is a plus.
• Must have knowledge on use of MSDS sheets.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Essential Job Functions:

• Control normal operation of assigned station.
• Follow executive steward’s guidelines accordingly.
• Utilize proper sanitation techniques, following health and safety standards.
• Notify Executive Steward or Sous chefs of problems that arise and/or how they have been corrected.
• Responsible for expediting and coordinating dish areas.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of MSDS and chemicals.
• Able to work all dish machines and glass machines.
• Work closely with Executive Steward to achieve company goals.
• Responsible to help train and monitor dishwasher training.
• Perform other duties.
