Mission/Job Scope:
The Senior Treasury Analyst is responsible for providing accounting, treasury, and risk management support for Leslie’s. This role will execute daily cash management functions with retail and ecommerce, assist in monitoring the Company’s debt, and will collaborate with the multiple departments to provide the correct assumptions and forecasts that will drive enterprise-wide cash projections. The position requires a high level of business acumen, initiative, responsiveness, and accuracy. This person must have proven experience in identification and implementation of automation improvements, possess a passion for details, and have an ability to think analytically and strategically. To be successful, you must be comfortable with ambiguous working environments, while continuously driving change.
Responsibilities:
Perform and manage duties related to centralized cash management function including but not limited to bank account administration, cash forecasting, and debt.- Reconcile and report on the Company’s daily cash position.
- Assistance with the development and maintenance of financial models related to forecasting future cash use, funding needs and debt compliance.
- Prepare and maintain various reports, including daily cash position, monthly lender reporting, weekly loan tracking and support the cash forecasting process.
- Cash Forecasting – Update and maintain daily cash forecast. This will require statistical analysis and working with external teams to derive the most accurate possible forecast via the use of spreadsheets and other software.
- Produce debt compliance requirements and reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of the Company’s monthly and quarterly debt compliance certificates
- Assist with the preparation and execution of outgoing company wires.
- Review monthly bank charges to determine accuracy and reasonableness.
- Manage treasury projects from inception to completion including working with internal and external business partners.
- Assist with month end and quarter end reporting.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.- Minimum three to five years relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of general treasury operations (i.e. daily cash positioning and forecasting, opening/closing bank accounts, wire/checks/ACH payments, etc.)
- Experience with automated treasury solutions (i.e. payment and bank reconciliation files, invoice automation, etc.) a plus
- 3+ years working in Asset Based Lending (ABL) reporting
- Experience in independently managing key projects
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior personnel
- Experience with accounting systems and other banking and business software
- Ability to work independently, with initiative and independent judgement.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and conflicting priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
- Advanced competency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite products (e.g. Word and PowerPoint).
