Job Description:
The Physician Recruiter partners with the leadership to design and implement sourcing strategies and methods to meet physician recruitment needs of department both currently and for the future. Develop and implement strategies for the successful recruitment of targeted physicians.
Responsibilities:
- Selects and attends national and local medical conferences
- Serves as a resource to organization residents and fellows during their career development
- Provides consultative physician recruitment services to departments and Service Lines
- Develops key relationships with internal stakeholders; uses knowledge of department and Service Line issues to resolve recruitment needs and concerns
- Sources, screens and interviews candidates for physician positions; manages search progress and ensures all privileging and on-boarding processes are completed efficiently and in a timely fashion
- Ensures physician recruiting efforts are consistent and in compliance with internal and external policies and procedures
- Monitors internal and external factors impacting attraction and retention
- Maintains awareness of the national physician market; monitors internal and external diversity trends and legal developments impacting physician recruitment
- Provides consultation and supports the leadership in the establishment of organizational diversity goals, objectives, and strategies and develops/communicates plans to meet established goals
- Assists physicians with house hunting and other relocation services; manages the search firm relationship and process, as appropriate
- Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree Required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- 3-5 years of relevant experience required
