- Must demonstrate a complete understanding of the Technical Document Systems (TDS) and Display Graphics (DG) product lines within LFS including the ability to conduct webinars, workshops, facilitator led training, and have a complete understanding of the sales rep’s role and expectations for new hire training.
- Welcomes the new hires and partners with them during their new hire orientation through their first 100 days in the company.
- Effectively interacts with all sales people, their managers, their sales directors, and other personnel in the company.
- Ability to construct power point presentations, in both content and the actual navigation of the power point software.
- Conducts assigned workshop sessions based on the New Hire curriculum topic, in classroom and non-classroom settings concerning equipment and software for demonstration and processes.
- Executes administrative functions such as communicating with appropriate hotels and support personnel. Also, constructs agendas and all administrative detail involved in the execution of the Sr. Sales Training Specialist position.
- Facilitates the 5 Day New Hire Class in conjunction with the LFS Marketing team.
- Serves as a mentor through this period and up to 90 days after the New Hire Class is completed for each individual.
- Maintains a high level of communication with New Hires for support and questions.
- Willingness to to travel, as required, to different field locations for training and /or to accompany sales people on customer sales calls.
- Provides regular standardized reporting to managers on their new hire's progress.
- Acts as a liaison between new hires, sales training and marketing personnel to ensure continuous improvement feedback is conveyed and implemented as required.
- Attends scheduled meeting to discuss "Best practices."
- Works with department personnel to augment and improve the existing training coursework.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in training or sales, preferably a combination of both.
- Ability to contruct PowerPoint presentations in both content and the actual navigation of the power point software. Working knowledge of Word and Excel software.
- Travel to different field locations for training and/or to accompany sales people on customer sales calls, including coast to coast travel, generally 20-30% (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
- Certification in sales training, corporate training or related field is a plus.
