Job Description
Overview: Amyx is seeking experienced Senior Planning Analyst to directly support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Operations Integration, Operational Analysis Department (OI-OA), located in Reston, VA. The Senior Planner shall demonstrate the ability to apply highly developed analytical, interpersonal and communication skills to manage complex projects in a diverse and dynamic environment. Majority of individual's duties will be providing senior level advice and analysis of organization manpower and fiscal portfolio to government leadership ensuring that they make informed decisions.

Most positions require ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and providing recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.

The mission of DTRA OI-OA is to conduct and maintain analytical support keyed to Warfighter operational requirements and timelines, and:
- To identify and maintain a global operational and intelligence picture of violent extremist networks and conduct analysis to produce multi-layered, multi-intelligence fused products within the Latest Time of Value.
- To identify enemy critical vulnerabilities to enable prioritized investment decisions.
- To provide threat assessments and intelligence support. To Communicate the tactical, operational, and strategic threat to satisfy intelligence requests for information.
- To identify, advise, assess, and collaborate on solutions to DOD and wider U.S. Government gaps pertaining to counter and defeat improvised and WMD threat intelligence collection strategies and requirements, exploitation, analysis and dissemination.
The Senior Planning Analyst primary job responsibilities will include:
- Support government oversight of OI-OA contractor manpower and allocation per existing contracts and inform the OI-OA leadership of manning status.
- Support government OI-OA annual budget and POM submission.
- Assist government with the oversight of OI-OA initiatives as each progresses through the Department business rules to Program Budget Advisory Committee (PBAC).
- Assist government with the development, coordination, and monitoring of OI-OA annual spend plans with multiple divisions, departments and Financial Management Office.
- Assist OI-OA leadership in contingency planning on movement of personnel worldwide.

- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university
- Current Top Secret/SCI
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in a DoD Service, Joint Headquarters Staff or Agency, or Organization
- Knowledge of the DOD Program, Planning and Budget Execution (PPBE) process.
- Experience interacting with senior government civilians and military (SES/GO/FO).
- Innovative and motivated to overcome obstacles and accomplish the mission, while managing short timelines and minimal government oversight.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and experience developing and presenting complex information to senior Government officials using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficient in office software such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint.
- 15+ years experience in a DOD Service, Joint Headquarters Staff or equivalent Agency, or Organization
- Previous experience supporting DTRA, JIDO, or it’s predecessor organizations
