CorVel is in the planning stages of both a Network and Cloud modernization. We are adding two Senior Network Engineers to be responsible for participating in the planning, design, implementation and support of the Enterprise Network Infrastructure, to include WAN, LAN, VPN and Wireless architectures. The network is comprised of multiple datacenters and over 80 locations across the United States and its territories. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting network performance, incident response, creating network documentation and management of hardware lifecycles.

Essential qualifications
- Seven or more years of experience or equivalent in education as a Network Engineer to include evaluating, developing, customizing, installing, implementing and maintaining Cisco data network systems according to best practices.
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco routing and switching (at the CCNP level).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identifies and installs hardware/ software/ and network purchases.
- Administers and maintains the Company’s network infrastructure in compliance with all applicable standards.
- Performs complex tasks relating to network monitoring, operations, and maintenance.
- Provides Tier 3 support for network issues.
- Develops project plans for, and assists in the implementation of, all network implementation activities of high level of complexity.
- Regularly works with other departments as a subject matter expert
- Work directly with the security team to help develop and establish network security standards.
- Proactive communicator with all levels of staff and management with the ability to maintain open communication with others
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
