Position Type: 90 Day Contract-to-hire

Location: Remote

• 7+ years’ experience of strong, large enterprise experience required with Cisco ACI (In-depth technical interview will take place)

• These are hands-on systems engineer roles; not architecture.

• Able to be on-call

• Self-tasker, quick work ethic (this is not a slow paced work environment)

• Familiar with working in a large enterprise environment following change process and controls

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for ensuring the stability and integrity of in-house voice, data, video, and wireless network services through the support, design, and development of local area and wide area networks (LAN and WAN). Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. Analyze and resolve network hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion. Serve as a technical resource to Network Engineers.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Bachelor’s degree or a comparable level of experience required.

• Minimum of seven (7) years of experience as a Network Engineer supporting enterprise networks and/or large data center environment.

• CCNA and ITIL V3 Awareness training preferred.

• Prior experience with IDS/IPS, network access control, load balancers and firewalls preferred.

• Must have good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.

Contract length: 6 months

Salary: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
