RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will lead the SW Validation and Cybersecurity Testing Team which is the most critical function of the organization to release the state-of-art E/E System for Fisker Ocean. You also will contribute for the Validation Strategy, Methodology, and Process for ongoing improvement. Your role will not be limited to this role and a lot of room for expanding if desired.

  • Functional Safety Manager responsible for E/E safety activities
  • Lead a establishment of process to comply with IS0 26262
  • Analyze impact and tailoring of ISO 26262 on Fisker products and create awareness across departments
  • Perform safety management activities for all project phases (Concept, Product Development, Production)
  • Develop Safety Plan, Safety Timing Plan and driving the safety activities for the Project
  • Lead and co-ordinate creation of functional safety work products and artefacts within the organization and in co-ordination with Suppliers, other Stakeholders
  • Lead and co-ordinate creation of functional safety documentation in compliance to ISO 26262
  • Ensure safety requirements are cascaded down to System, Subsystem and Component levels within Fisker product portfolio
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Development Teams, Suppliers on Functional Safety
  • Moderate reviews with product development teams to ensure functional safety compliance throughout the development lifecycle
  • Organize audits and safety assessments for the Project
  • Maintain the Project Safety Case and report to Project Manager


Qualification:

  • BS or higher in electrical/computer/mechanical engineering, or equivalent
  • 10+ years software validations role and 8+ years in management/leadership role
  • 3+ years’ experience in Automotive industries with agile development cycle
  • Detailed knowledge and proven experience with ISO 26262 in automotive projects
  • Broad Domain knowledge in ADAS, ePowertrain, Body, Telematics, Airbag control units, vehicle dynamics etc.
  • Good understanding of software development life cycle and software quality
  • Knowledge of Requirement Management tools for ensuring traceability
  • Good system engineering and safety analysis experience
  • Good technical leadership, planning, risk management and organization skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to coach and mentor safety team members
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
