Job Summary:

Drive efficiency, consistency, and engagement across the Central Engineering Automation organization through headcount and budget management, clear communication of goals, status, and accomplishments, managing special projects, and supporting senior staff. Central EA is a team of 200+ worldwide with responsibility for Design Automation driving DRAM, NAND, ASIC and emerging memory technology design, High-Performance Computing infrastructure, Flow Automation tools, and Custom Engineering application development.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Drive the daily work and long-term strategy of EA Business Operations

  • Oversee all business operations for Central Engineering Automation globally, including oversight of organization headcount, operating expense budgets, and capital budgets
  • Develop processes and policies to drive consistency across the EA organization and eliminate work for senior leadership and front-line managers
  • Develop and drive engagement, recognition, and cost management strategies in close partnership with corporate HR and finance partners/programs
  • Represent the Sr Director of Engineering Automation and the EA organization in cross-functional operations initiatives/working teams/meetings to further priorities, establish relationships and act as liaison between organizations
  • Drive special projects chosen as the highest priority for alignment across organizations and overall product time to market
  • Develop, coordinate, and sustain top-level organizational objectives with regular report-outs to senior staff

Deliver strategic solutions

  • Understand the needs of the Engineering Automation team and our customers and the value Biz Ops can provide them.
  • Implement and oversee key metrics to ensure deliverables are achieved and have the desired impact
  • Manage conflict, build effective relationships, and sustain effective communication with partners
  • Promote collaboration, provide project sponsorship, and guide deliverable execution


Support Central EA Leaders and Team Members

  • Support the development of a high-performing culture and programs that foster engagement, DEI, and innovation
  • Ensure full alignment with Central Engineering Business Operations
  • Support succession planning, talent development, leadership development, and engagement programs
  • Coach, mentor, and develop current and future Micron leaders
  • Exhibit and drive leadership attributes within the team
