The Sr. Manager of Product Management will lead a team of product managers in enabling their vision for the future of multicloud management. CloudHealth is ranked the most strategic cloud management vendor in the market today, but we’re growing our suite of capabilities including CloudHealth Secure State and beyond. The Sr. Manager will report to the head of product and work as a player and coach for the team with a goal of driving transformative features for our customers and partners.
Product Strategy
Create, maintain & achieve a business plan
Set clear goals for organization and hold staff accountable to them (OKRs)
Facilitate PMs building and maintaining clear strategy & roadmap
Maintain clear priority list of major investments (business & technical)
Review & provide feedback on minor investments across teams / PMs
Support escalations from the field for prospective deals, pulling in appropriate PM resources as required
Catalyzes conversations with PMM on GTM strategy
Business/Domain Knowledge
Talk to customers and prospects and collect understanding of our market and customers
4-7 yrs of Management experience
Be a subject matter expert in our market and our competition
Broad understanding of how our product can connect into the larger VMware ecosystem
Provide insight and commentary to analysts, stakeholders, and our industry on Multicloud Management
Technical Knowledge
Collaborate with customers and PMs during feature development, pre-release and post-release to ensure maximum impact of features
Validate technical direction by engineering in relationship to our strategy and goals
Conversant in new technology developments and trends impacting business
Capable of leading M&A diligence exercises related to inorganic additions to the CloudHealth brand
Influence
Work with product marketing in support of blogs, sales collateral, and industry events
Work with PMO to smoothly operate our software design lifecycle
Provide insights for executive leadership through a metrics-driven approach to our product health
Present regularly in our industry events to promote education about cloud concepts
