Role and Responsibilities

Support clients in a variety of financial initiatives, working under the direction of the President or other Finance & Accounting Management.

  • Evaluates key performance metrics to support value-based contracts, quality measures, the gap of care opportunities, patient engagement metrics, and other quality programs and initiatives
  • Produces ongoing financial models to outline the cost of care for clinical networks based on the utilization of Healthcare Services by the patient population
  • Develop, implement and deliver standardized reports, dashboards, executive-level summary reports, and presentations to effectively communicate program performance to operational leaders and stakeholders
  • Works in client-facing roles, providing visibility and recommendations to clients to optimize financial performance
  • Reviews complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes
  • Conducts recurring financial reviews with clients to include current trends relative to historical performance, variance analysis & industry benchmarks
  • Develops compensation models based on the inputs provided by clients’ senior management
  • Evaluates managed care agreements and fee schedule analysis to provide recommendations to improve client revenue
  • Creates proformas and financial forecasts to outline future profitability
  • Client support related to various practice management systems and accounting inquiries
  • Ad hoc analysis to provide clients margin analysis, staffing models, and budgeting
  • Completes due diligence for Mergers and Acquisitions.
  • Ability to define problems and identify solutions; possess strong time management skills
  • Track and record time spent on client projects
  • Developing and/or improving preliminary deliverables for client engagements
  • Supports the team in producing quality and cost reporting
  • Supports other team members when needed
  • Plan and organize individual/team projects and responsibilities
  • Coordinates with other business owners to plan and complete projects
  • Monitor individual schedule, work priorities, and tasks
  • Ability to gain the confidence of client personnel
  • Have the ability to collect and organize data to draw valid conclusions with attention to detail.
  • Able to collaborate and contribute as a strong team member, and have good communication skills, orally and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate the financial performance and recommendations to client senior-level leadership.
  • Follow guidelines on engagement as established by other team members who are leading the project effort

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Industry experience is required
  • Minimum 3-4 years prior financial analysis work experience
  • Strong knowledge of Excel & relational databases

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of medical reimbursement methodology
  • Previous experience working with an insurance payer
  • Ability to model recommendations in Tableau or other Business Intelligence Tool
