• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business or related field

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Sr. Finance Analyst to join our finance organization, supporting the AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain & Logistics team. We are looking for a team player that has the entrepreneurial spirit and enjoys working with minimal direction in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Through insightful and data-driven analysis, you will partner and collaborate with cross-functional team members to drive supply chain optimization initiatives. This role is both strategic and detailed in nature and requires a finance professional who has a passion for developing complex financial models to support sound decision-making as well as enjoys rolling up his/her sleeves to learn the day-day aspects of the business. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic and multicultural environment; will be a creative and analytical problem solver with the ability to fulfill the Amazon motto to “Work Hard. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with business partners and co-lead supply chain optimization projects by influencing through data-driven analysis, reporting and metrics
• Serve as a key finance partner working with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights and cost savings opportunities
• Ensure compliance with controls and systems, and develop new processes to support the fast-growing, global AWS business
• Manage competing priorities & provide level-headed thinking during unexpected events

Support new business integrations and be the key liaison with other finance counterparts, including accounting and tax

• MBA/CFA/CPA
• Green or Black Belt Six Sigma certified
• PMP certification
• Manufacturing/supply chain experience
• Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to drill into the details and connect to the big picture
• Strong bias for action, including the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with financial systems such as Oracle, Cognos TM1
• Good at handling of large amounts of complex data and comfortable in a data warehouse - SQL environment
