Photronics Inc, is looking for a Senior Engineer. The Senior Engineer takes pride in a finished product, done right the first time, has the desire to learn and strive for success in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve production equipment to support existing and evolving process requirements
  • Lead root cause determination and prevention implementation.
  • Perform hands on maintenance tasks, and generate and publish procedures used by other team members.
  • Utilize experience and collaboration with vendors to develop and implement best-known methods and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collect data and use statistical analysis to monitor equipment performance.
  • Optimize preventative maintenance tasks and frequency.
  • Source and procure parts, manage consumable and critical material inventory, and research suitable replacements for end of life parts.
  • Lead projects at local and global levels.
  • Directly interface with internal customers


Qualifications/ Skills/ Attributes

  • Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Specifically within the process areas of wet etch, wet clean, and registration that utilize lasers, multi-axis robots, chemicals, process gasses, pneumatics, and automation.
  • Troubleshooting of legacy equipment using manuals, drawings, and prints.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Exercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results Internal and external contacts often pertain to company plans and objectives.
  • Position impacts site quality that may affect multiple regions.
  • Ability to anticipate, repair, and prevent equipment down time important to performance objectives
  • Internal process sustaining and troubleshooting skills affect customer and quality metrics
  • Presents project results, data, or other relevant information to site leadership
