Job Description

YOUR ROLE

Responsible for the Company’s overall compensation initiative, leading the salary survey process that includes selection, participation and evaluation of survey data, supporting the development of pay ranges and merit increases, job evaluations, and overall compensation analysis that support the Company’s business goals and initiatives, and meet regulatory compliance standards. Models and acts in accordance with our guiding principles and core values.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Administer the Company’s Compensation program.
  • Design, develop and implement compensation initiatives in support of business objectives.
  • Participate in salary surveys and analyze market data.
  • Provide expertise in the implementation and management of base and variable pay and other recognition programs.
  • Ensure company complies with DOL/FLSA requirements.
  • Create merit increase/management bonus budgets for senior executive review.
  • Review salary increases and offers that are outside guidelines or practices.
  • Administer and calculate Exempt Bonuses (non-sales).
  • Coordinate and assist with the Merit budget process.
  • Analyze compensation related market trends and make recommendations for changes as needed.
  • Update and make recommendation to salary structure on an annual basis.
  • Respond to compensation related questions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technology changes and innovations through formal or informal study.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.
  • Minimum two years related experience. 3+ years preferred
  • Experience with Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work with large data sets.
  • Knowledge of compensation and job evaluation theories, applicable wage/hour regulations and salary survey methodologies.
  • Advanced Excel skills including vlookups and pivot tables.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working with HR Systems including reporting components.
  • Experience in sales and non-sales incentive design and implementation.
  • Experience with Payfactors software
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional)

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
  • Strong business acumen and basic understanding of business financial principles including P&L’s budgets, payroll, financial reporting and expense control
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify trends and root issues and to recommend solutions that support the company’s business objectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop and promote programs to attain positive reception, understanding and participation. Ability to interact with senior level management.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills to effectively research, monitor, manage and report problems.
  • Good organizational skills and detail oriented.

Pay: $75,449.19 - $90,000.00 per year
