Position Summary:
Responsible for reviewing, gathering, interpreting and analyzing data received from internal and external customers. Delivers information to management and uses it to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of service and system. As time permits, assists in reviewing Consummation CDs at the loan-level, post-close, for all compliance requirements compared to 3rd party fee statements and internal LOS systems, and reviews for potential clerical errors. This position ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
Responsibilities:
  • Gathers and analyzes data received from investors for Post-Consummation; finds patterns and trends in the analyzed data.
  • Responsible for helping management and other teams with goals and needs.
  • Sends data reports to Compliance of data findings.
  • Reviews detailed audits of LE/CD on select loan basis for all points of compliance requirements.
  • Requests, logs and tracks any post-close CD tolerance refunds to borrowers.
  • Provides feedback to manager regarding trending or egregious CD issues.
  • Manages reports and pipelines to ensure timely review and reconciliation of post-close CDs.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position.
  • Ability to concentrate and audit for accuracy mass amounts of documentation on a daily basis.
  • Tenacity to follow-up on all tasks that are assigned.
  • Knowledge of title endorsements related to property types, liens, encroachments, loan types, etc.
  • Ability to deliver required documentation to the investor within the required turn times to avoid penalties.
  • Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision while performing duties.
  • High School Degree/GED required, or minimum of two (2) + years’ similar work experience.
  • Experience in the Mortgage industry preferred.
