Summary:
VisionCor is looking for an experienced business development professional to accelerate our growth. Candidates should have a strong existing network with Learning & Development (L&D), Human Resources (HR) and Talent Management decision-makers. This position is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and negotiating business opportunities that are consistent with VisionCor’s mission. Candidates will match VisionCor’s services and solutions to detailed analysis of the business, industry and competitor trends in the pipeline to anticipate customer needs and identify new business development opportunities.
· Drive VisionCor’s efforts to position itself as a market leader in L&D/HR/Talent Mgt. solutions.
· Build a pipeline of business opportunities through successful lead generation, networking, social media, and other lead generating activities.
· Obtain new accounts and further grow existing accounts to consistently exceed sales targets.
· Establish and maintain long-standing relationships with L&D/HR/Talent Mgt. decision makers with regular meeting cadence.
· Identify new L&D/HR/Talent Mgt. decision-makers to sell solutions and services; perform due diligence on prospects, gain an understanding of overall financial condition, key decision makers and competitive positioning.
· Demonstrate follow-through with all aspects of the sales process; provide regular reporting updates, complete all required reporting activities such as forecasts, expense reports and weekly status reports on time.
· Proactively build and maintain in-depth knowledge of clients’ industry trends and competition.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
· Four-year college degree; an advanced degree is preferred
· Five years of new account development selling business services or learning solutions to executive-level decision makers within L&D/HR/Talent Mgt. departments; previous experience selling to C-level leaders and/or Human Resources is preferred
· Sales “hunter” with proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills, as well as a consistent track record of successfully achieving financial objectives
· Strong experience with developing MSA, RFI/RFP and SOWs reviews and proposals.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Advanced presentation and negotiation skills; creating a win/win/win scenario for all parties.
· Exceedly self-driven, motivated, results focused with an enthusiasm for growth
· Ability and willingness to travel, as necessary
Preferred Skill:
· Experience generating consistent new sales revenue of approximately $2 million per year
· Demonstrated experience generating 10+ new business meetings per month with high closing success
· Mastery with structured sales methodologies, e.g., Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power Based Selling, and/or Target Account Selling.

· Compensation of salary plus commission commensurate with experience; benefits include PTO and holiday pay, medical/vision, and dental insurance, and a 401K plan.
