Sr. Business Development Manager - DWC
Lead sales and business development activities in the Nuclear/Hydroelectric markets for the In-Place Machining Company Diamond Wire Cutting and Field Machining business. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, this position will Identify new opportunities and execute IPM strategy to establish new business in domestic and international markets.
Duties include:
- Positioning and differentiating IPM in the Nuclear and Hydroelectric Dam market for specialty field machining and diamond wire cutting projects.
- Estimating and proposal writing for Field Machining, Concrete cutting, and Diamond Wire jobs
- Weekly travel in support of customer meetings, jobsite walk downs and internal IPM meetings and events
- Routine Customer contact to create a develop a pipeline of new business in the Nuclear /Hydroelectric Dam Market
- Routine sales presentations at customer facilities
- Report weekly IPM Established key metrics
- Forecast and report sales data
- Routine training and personal development on technical capabilities of IPM.
- Participate in industry events as necessary
- Support in recruitment of new technicians for Diamond Wire Cutting business when/where appropriate
Travel: Approximately 50%
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree and equivalent work experience in related field
- Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales within the Nuclear Power/Decommissioning market
- Ability to visualize and articulate Engineered cutting/ field machining solutions to customers verbally and in writing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of the Nuclear industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert
