Job Summary:

RMD’s Global Supply Chain has a need for a Senior Analyst, Logistics. This position will work with all logistics functions (warehouse, pack/ship, transportation, 3PL). As a Senior Analyst, you are part of a team of Logistics Professionals providing support in the areas of material flow, planning/execution, and tactical production/operations support.

In this role, you will operate in multiple shop floor and MRP related systems to ensure alignment between material position and production capability/schedule. You will be responsible for material delivery, receipt, and organized presentation to the logistics floor. You will also have daily interaction with other cross-business teams to maintain and meet organizational goals and objectives.

This role will be part of the Logistics Program Team. This team provides a unique opportunity to work with and learn many functions within RMD Global Logistics. It is a fast-paced role that requires multitasking as well as clear and concise communication across many levels within the company.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Developing and executing value add Logistics solutions that meet present and future business requirements
  • Accountability: create a defined Logistics Program Plan
  • Predictability: define clear service level expectations
  • Affordability: develop and execute cost effective solutions
  • Communication: provide program reviews and execution status
  • Expertise: provide experience, capabilities, and solutions to meet ever changing and complex business environments
  • Early program engagement to define logistics requirements and develop the Logistics Program Plan
  • Partner with Planning to drive MRP health and material availability
  • Provide single Logistics POC that will reach across all logistics functions (warehouse, pack/ship, transportation, 3PL)
  • Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting
  • Continue to increase systems and tools capabilities to deliver accurate material traceability
  • Drive synergy opportunities across all logistics functions to increase productivity, efficiency, and flexibility

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of work experience
  • 2 years’ experience with engineering, quality, production control, manufacturing, planning, scheduling and/or supply chain
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Value:

  • Demonstrated Lean Experience and/or Six Sigma concept
  • Ability to work across business areas and interface at all levels of organization
  • Experience with shop floor management or inventory management systems
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Logistics Execution in an Enterprise Resource Planning System (SAP)
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and business communication skills
  • Self-starter who requires minimal supervision, works well with teammates and customers, has a results-based mindset and ability to motivate and influence across functional groups
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient skills working with Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
  • APICS or ISM certification
  • This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
