The Senior Analyst, Managed Care Contracts will support the US Pharma, NGT, and Oncology organizations with the accurate and timely administration of discount agreements. This entails contract interpretation and system entry; validating membership; rebate payment adjudication and analytics.

The Senior Analyst, Managed Care Contracts will support the US Pharma, NGT, and Oncology organizations with the accurate and timely administration of discount agreements. This entails contract interpretation and system entry; validating membership; rebate payment adjudication and analytics.
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Process Expert/Lead - Evaluate and interpret contracts to ensure correct setup of products, pricing, and membership terms. Create and maintain Indirect/Direct membership information in Model N, SHAPE, and SAP. Conduct Class of Trade research in order to support Government Pricing calculations. Serve as subject matter expert for the department and leverage knowledge of system and membership expertise to drive priorities, project development quality/speed, and compliance. Manage and/or coordinate special projects.
- Business Partnering - Support contract strategy feasibility discussions with NPC, Oncology and NGT contract teams. Partner with the Government Pricing team to ensure accurate pricing calculations. Communicate with wholesalers, GPO, LTC, Specialty Groups, HIBCC, IMS, and HRSA to determine member eligibility. Work with teams in remote locations both inside and outside the U.S. to achieve department objectives.
- Team Leadership/Meeting Facilitation - Provide expertise and training to analysts within the team to help ensure understanding and alignment of standard operating procedures. Conduct meetings to achieve issue resolution within the department, with internal customers, wholesalers, and GPOs. Maintain systems and logs to track contracts, rebate, chargebacks, and membership issues for accurate reporting to management.
- Data Analytics/Super User: designated resource within department who will become expert on all systems and programs. They will be our internal experts who will be called upon for testing, troubleshooting, as well as for identifying errors and inefficient workflows.
- Quality Assurance – Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures and SOX requirements. Identify risks to the department and organization, and communicate to management. Identify any areas for improvement and provide actionable feedback.

What you’ll bring to the role:- Bachelor’s degree required; subject area in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred
- 2+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Familiarization with chargeback adjudication, rebate processing, membership and contract maintenance / understanding of pharmaceutical product discount contracts with various healthcare providers strongly preferred
- Working knowledge of class of trade and customer identifiers
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat
- Proficiency with life science applications; Model N and SAP a plus
- Demonstrated ability to persistently follow through and ability to juggle shifting priorities with ease
- Ability to research and respond to complex customer issues with reasoned judgment
- Excellent collaboration, communication and negotiating skills
- Leadership, motivation skills with ability to influence without direct responsibility
- Project and process management experience
- Results-oriented ability to deliver under tight deadlines
- Willingness to train and coach others
