Senior Analyst, Channel Marketing

Job Summary

This role is within CGI's Sales Operations function. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Develop, communicate, implement and manage a channel marketing strategy for the assigned channel type. Deliver pricing, product mix, and promotion strategies to achieve CGI's business objectives, and (ii) Develop and ensure deployment of integrated marketing communication plans and marketing programs for the assigned channel in collaboration with other CGI's marketing functions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • 5+ years of Sales and/or Marketing; 3+ years in channel marketing
  • Strong financial acumen; project management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of time - North America
Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
  • Experience within the Consumer/Durable Goods industry; experience with IoT products
Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, communicate, implement and manage a channel marketing strategy for the assigned channel type. Deliver pricing, product mix, and promotion strategies to achieve CGI's business objectives
  • Develop and ensure deployment of integrated marketing communication plans and marketing programs for the assigned channel in collaboration with other CGI's marketing functions
  • Create and maintain channel segmentation and key persona analysis for each segment. Develop enablement strategies and ensure development of content and collateral for each persona, inclusive of messaging to-the-partner and through-the-partner, skills-building and incentives to drive product launches, marketing campaigns, channel programs and account-specific marketing
  • Coordinate the timing of deployment of marketing programs with channel marketing managers covering other channel types
  • Provide an ongoing channel situation analysis that monitors execution of revenue, margin and volume across key products and partners
  • Provide a forecast report for each promotional activity
  • Measure promotion and programs' effectiveness against business goals and provide analysis to drive improvementsDevelop deep knowledge of the various business models and economic engines that the assigned channel pursues. Serve as the channel expert and ensure internal teams and Sales organization are knowledgeable about channel specific needs
  • Develop, maintain and communicate a competitive landscape analysis for the assigned channel; inform the organization of competitor activity
  • Develop relationships with key partners within the assigned channel and continuously gather feedback on products and services
  • Support preparation and presentation of results in monthly/quarterly business reviews
  • Protect CGI’s reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
