Here's where you come in:
We are looking for an experienced actuarial analyst to join our team! You will be creating, maintaining and implementing our telematics pricing algorithms to ensure rate adequacy and appropriate price segmentation. You will be working closely with Lead Actuary to build our actuarial methods and processes. The ideal candidate enjoys data, new challenges and working in a fast-paced environment.

Day to Day:

  • Use traditional and non-traditional actuarial techniques to evaluate rate adequacy and price segmentation
  • Develop and maintain our proprietary pricing algorithms. Projects include but are not limited to new state product launches, rate changes, filings, indication, testing and state specific or countrywide analysis
  • Analyze and stay up to speed on competitors' rating strategies and industry loss and premium trends
  • Create new actuarial tools and processes
  • Collaborate with product management, service, legal, and engineering teams.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of P&C actuarial experience, with at least 1 year of pricing experience.
  • Proficient in Excel, Access Database and other Microsoft Office products
  • Advanced SQL or other programming experience
  • Must have completed or be on CAS Exam 5
