With overall responsibility for LG ESS Sales, the Sr Account Manager will be responsible for the management, oversight, identification, qualification and capture of all Energy Storage related business development opportunities and will be responsible for the generation of qualified pipeline growth necessary to meet or exceed the business area’s forecast and plan. In addition, this individual will be responsible to drive general business management operations, to include but not limited to, sales operations, forecasting and financial reporting, program management, supply chain, process improvement, business planning and budgets

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate LG ESS sales and meet target revenue and profitability
  • Generate new sales opportunities for Team while fostering a trusting relationship with clients and delivering business value.
  • Generate new solution sales by working with and utilizing other LGE business division.
  • Meet target revenue and profitability by relevant verticals and/or accounts including accurate opportunity forecasting.
  • Develop and implement customer service process methodologies for creating a repeatable, scalable and measurable customer delivery infrastructure within relevant vertical markets of responsibilities.
  • Manage each account (multiple accounts in large customers) to specific targets on strategic/economic values including all relevant levels of customer personnel.
  • Manage account/project specific issues, risks and quality.
  • Develop and execute Go-To Market strategies with strategic partners, focusing on aggressive marketing to build the sales funnel and co-selling into high priority opportunities.
  • Develop and drive business strategies and plans to promote and grow LG ESS sales and market share from, direct and channel partner sales.
  • Responsible for originating, qualifying and shaping deals that will gain market share for LG ESS Business through go-to-market approaches

Skills and Qualifications

  • BS required, MBA preferred
  • Minimum 10+ years sales/marketing management experience
  • Minimum 10+ years in the Energy and Electronics Industry experience
  • Superior technical expertise of products and services in energy storage system, storage batteries and solar products
  • Proven sales track records and strong Enterprise knowledge in Energy Storage business.
  • Experience working with installers, hardware, solution and service providers, re-sellers, distributors, and enterprise customers.
  • Experience working with a range of energy storage devices: batteries, inverter devices and other products related to Energy Storage System.
  • Ability to build trusting relationship with customers at all level (CXO, middle managers, staff level) based on subject matter expertise
  • Excellent presentation and communications skills
