Spray Technician

We are seeking a Spray Technician to perform fertilization and chemical applications on the common grounds. Experience helpful but not necessary.

Responsibilities:

· Inspect and diagnose insect and disease issues on turf, shrubs and trees.

· Apply fertilizer, pesticides and weed control to turf, trees and shrubs.

· Complete required paperwork and reports on a daily basis.

· Clean and maintain equipment and chemical room.

· Reading, understanding and keeping current with the Safety Data Sheets and maintaining them as required.

· Reading and understanding pesticide labels.

· Follow safety procedures and policies.

Requirements:

· Able to identify various flowers, shrubs, and trees.

· Experience in applying fertilizer, pesticides and herbicides.

· A clean driving record.

· Basic math skills and conversions required to measure and mix proper amounts of liquids and granular products.

· Able to keep records and paperwork.

· Candidates must have good communication skills, organized, possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

· Candidate must have the ability to be a team member and be able to perform with minimum supervision.
