We are looking for Chaplains who possess the following:
- Strong commitment to improving quality of life while partnering with our community organizations in patient care
- Ability to work well within a team environment to collaborate with nurses, therapists, social workers, and volunteers
- Ability to assess the spiritual needs of patients and families/caregivers in the hospice program, ensuring that appropriate services are rendered in a timely manner
- Comfort level in inter-faith setting
- Able to work independently on a day-to-day basis
- Willingness to visit patients wherever they consider home (private homes, long-term care facilities, etc.)
Qualifications for our Chaplain positions:
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
- Certificate of graduation from an accredited seminary or school of theology, or a degree in pastoral care, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in working with patients and/or families who are dealing with life-threatening illnesses and death.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, (PRN-basis)
- Some weekends and holidays
