Job Description
The Department of Neurosurgery at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is currently recruiting a neurosurgeon-scientist specializing in adult spine care who seeks to establish or who has already established a federally funded research program. We seek candidates who are eager to join a multi-disciplinary team of operative and non-operative spine physicians in the UTSW Spine Center. Candidates with research interests focused on spinal cord injury and recovery are preferred, although strong candidates with other research interests are invited to apply as well. This position will be sited at our established practice UTSW Clements University Hospital and Parkland Hospital. The neurosurgeon will be required to have completed a spine fellowship. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in Neurosurgery and eligible for a Texas Medical License. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
