The Speech-Language and Pathology Department on the Manhattan campus is searching for a per diem Speech Pathologist to join their team! Assignment may be our regular floors or the COVID Recovery Center

Reporting to the Director/Chief of Speech-Language Swallowing Disorders, the qualified candidate will be responsible for:

Perform diagnostic evaluation of speech-language, swallowing and cognitive-linguistic impairments

Develop individualized treatment plans

Use of computer for documentation of daily notes, progress notes and discharge summaries.
Maintain outcome measurements

Knowledge of FEES

Coordinate care of patients with other healthcare team members.

Skills & Requirements:

The successful candidate should posses the following qualifications:

Master's Degree in Speech/Language Pathology.

Certification of Clinical Competance (CCC) in Speech/Language Pathology granted by American Speech/Language Hearing Association.

Valid NYS Speech/Language License.
