Job Description


Sample collection (nasal swabs, throat swabs, oral swabs, observing patient self-collected nasal swabs), ordering tests, processing all laboratory specimens and the performance of Point of Care and waived testing. Includes clerical and reception duties of lab. If in a clinic setting will register patients and may be trained to perform x-rays. This position may require travel among all KVH locations. This position does not require a MA-P or MA-C licenses and will not be required to draw blood. Collection of urine samples, breathalyzer testing, or waived testing may be required depending upon clinic location.


Qualifications


What is required.

  • CPR card, must be obtained within 60 days of hire (maintenance required)


What is preferred.

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid WA State Driver’s License (may be required)
  • Valid auto liability insurance (may be required)
  • Previous healthcare experience

Additional Information


Wage:
Wage range starts at $15.00/ hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.

FTE: .40 = 16 hours/week

Shift: Primarily Saturdays & Sundays; 9:00a - 5:30p

Benefits: This position is not benefits eligible

Union Status: This is a non-union position
