Job Description
Description:Responsible for conducting and supporting flight and safety data analysis for Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA), Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP), Safety Management System (SMS) and Fatigue Risk Management programs. Plays an important role in the identification, risk assessment, and mitigation of hazards, control of hazards, completion of new systems, changes in systems, and changes in procedures to ensure safety, quality, and compliance.
1) Compliance with all applicable Federal Regulations
2) Compliance with all policies and procedures outlined in Company Manual System
3) Communicate with all personnel necessary to assure coordinated operations
4) Identify risk and hazards in the operation through flight data analysis
5) Process and track aircraft flight data and aircraft downloads
6) Reporting irregularities or making suggestions for improved processes or procedures improve operations or avoid potential problems.
7) Monitor ground/ramp service operations.
8) Oversee the monthly FOQA Monitoring Team Meeting (FMT)
9) Provide reports and briefings on flight data trending and assist Tech Ops Engineering in monitoring aircraft heath and predictive aircraft health monitoring
10) Assist in implementation and audit of corporate safety database systems and surveillance systems
11) Perform data analysis on the Safety Performance Objectives
12) Ensure compliance with SMS, SAP, FRMS
13) Observes the loading process and sign the Load Manifest to certify that loading was performed in
accordance with the Load Manifest.
14) Maintaining custody of the aircraft during layover periods
15) Perform Ground Security Coordinator functions
16) Maintain an SAP newsletter and attend industry meetings
17) Able to travel
18) Perform other duties as assigned by the Director Safety
Position Qualification Requirements include:
Work Experience in Similar Position: 1-2 years
