Essential Functions/Responsibilty Statements: Establishes, maintains and closes client accounts. Addresses client inquiries. Executes money movements. Prepares and produces client materials and reports. Ensures accurate and complete account and client records. Matches and affirms Equity and/or Fixed Income security transactions. Reports trades to custodian banks, manually or systematically. Follows up on exceptions with appropriate parties (trading, custodian banks, brokers and fund accounting). Ensures all issues are escalated to the appropriate levels in a timely fashion. Ensures compliance to all levels of audit. Reports administration and quarterly invoicing. Completes projects (industry or regulatory) assigned by Department Manager or Team Lead. 0 Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Diploma in (Pref) in Work Experience: Experience in operations, back office support or field financial consulting or equivalent.investment industry experience preferred, 0-3 years (Req) , Skills and Abilities: Possesses an understanding of (or a desire to understand) portfolio accounting and investment process Interest and desire to understand technology related issues, tasks and responsibilities; participate in technology initiatives Computer literate; experience learning new database systems Excellent attention to detail Problem solving and analytical skills Ability to trouble shoot one-off problems and investigate issues using non-standard sources and procedures Willingness to learn about investment management from the operational level and apply that knowledge daily Engaged, motivated, inquisitive, accountable, service oriented team player. Occassional moving and lifting equipment and furniture is required to support onsite and offsite meeting setup and teardown.
