Job Description:

The Cardiac Cath Information Systems Specialist is a member of the Cardiac Cath Lab staff focused on data entry and data gathering strategies. She/he is primarily responsible for ensuring data is entered and forms are created and maintained for the purpose of accurate reporting to the Cath Lab procedures. Data is also gathered for the administrative and medical management of the Cath Lab. The Specialist assigns other administrative reports. She/he is responsible for inventory management.

Qualifications/Education/Licensure:

Clinical preparation as an RN, RTR, LPN, or RCIS. Clinical knowledge of cardiac and vascular procedures medications equipment, risk factors, complications, hemodynamics, interventions, and the cardiovascular disease process. Computer skills in Microsoft Office applications. Either registered with the America Registry of Radiologic Technologists as an RTR OR registers as a Registered nurse, licensed professional nurse or Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist
