Special Education Paraeducators

Barre Unified Union School District is comprised of four schools Barre City Elementary and Middle, Barre Town Middle and Elementary, Spaulding High and Central Vermont Career Center. We are seeking para educators for multiple positions for the 2021/2022 school year in grades PreK 12. .Requirements are Associate's Degree, 60 credits or a high school degree/GED and successful completion of a Parapro Test (this can be done at the Central Office).Responsibilities will vary depending on the assignment, but typically include: 1:1 or Intensive Needs in Life Skills teacher support.Eyes on supervision during class, transition times and lunch;Redirection;Data Collection;Consulting communications with teachers and case manager.1:1 support and/or small group supportThis job comes with a full benefits package.
