Job Description

The Spa Conierge conducts customer orientation sessions with spa program customers including spa tours, scheduling appointments and counseling customers in planning their programs.

  • Warmly greet and assist customers with check-in, billing and check-out process
  • Receive incoming telephone calls promptly and politely, practicing proper phone etiquette
  • Accurately process reservation requests for spa treatments and salon.
  • Ability to explain specific spa treatments and services based on customer needs and interests
  • Conduct tours of the spa facilities for hotel and outside customers
  • Make reminder phone calls to clients about their appointments
  • Escort clients to appropriate locations or services
  • Assist customers with special requests and provide hospitality services as directed, such as water, tea service, etc.
  • Adhere to established guidelines for payment/sale process
  • Follow-up on product sales recommendations by estheticians and therapists and sell retail products to interested customers at reception desk
  • Replenish retail inventory as necessary
  • Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of retail and reception areas
  • Adhere to established health and safety standards.
  • Works diligently to support the S.H.O.W. Service Basic Standards culture and team philosophy throughout the property
  • Comply with all departmental and Company policies
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Borgata proprietary information, including personal customer information
  • Promote positive customer relations for all customers by providing prompt, courteous and efficient service.
  • Resolve customer complaints in a manner which promotes positive customer relations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hours.
  • Must be able to lift up to 5 pounds.
  • Physically capable of using the required equipment and/or tools specific to position.
Job Requirements
  • One year related experience in spa or hotel operations preferred
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills
  • Warm, enthusiastic and hospitable personal manner
  • Good organizational skills and detail orientation
