Responsible for sourcing products and services in support of strategies utilized by various stakeholder teams within Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance & others. Analyzes market and industry conditions, develops supply recommendations, gains business approval, negotiates contracts, and supports implementation as needed. Evaluate current spend categories within these areas to identify and capture value, savings, and risk mitigation opportunities. Typically source +10 MM annually.


Responsibilities:


Ensure sourcing policies, processes and procedures are followed

  • Ensures adherence to and understanding of Sourcing policies, processes and procedures in order that Sourcing standards are upheld. Train end users in the application of these processes.
  • Handles all queries and issues relating to specific Sourcing policies, processes and procedures
  • Suggests and lead process improvement or efficiency projects e.g. Introduction of more efficient working methods and is responsible for the implementation and adherence.
  • Be knowledgeable and a stakeholder coach for all department’s services. Facilitate a seamless stakeholder experience.

Execute Sourcing Strategies

  • Lead and manage procedural categories along with the appropriate sustain activities
  • Negotiate and contract the best overall value proposition for products and services while following the Global Sourcing CSSS process.
  • Achieve value creation targets (i.e. cost reduction, mitigation, TCO) in the purchase of products/services.
  • Identify opportunities for savings in the purchase of goods and services by analyzing information available in SAP, BW and other data sources to better understand the spend.
  • Consolidate purchases to achieve optimum value (price and service) by finding instances where multiple vendors are used for the same or similar services.
  • Secure the cooperation of diverse partners in the purchasing process by working closely with them in cross-functional teams to meet their requirements and achieve financial goals.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to define and measure service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for suppliers (e.g. cost reduction, quality and timeliness of delivery). Conduct scorecard reviews, researches, benchmarks, and gathers market analyses for assigned categories.
  • Drives category specific business intelligence needs and shares information with peer functions across the organization and as appropriate, across wider stakeholder groups. Supports cross business leverage initiatives and category team collaboration

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ year’s work experience sourcing, procurement and/or contract management
  • Experience with accessing financial data, analyzing alternatives, and preparing presentations.
  • Managing sustain activities for categories and supplier relationship management practices is a plus
