Sourcing Manager

Det-Tronics is searching for a Strategic Sourcing Manager.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic material plans for Det-Tronics’ global supply network. This role will drive cost reduction initiatives, quality and supplier performance, and supplier development.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze spend data and trends and create strategic initiatives

• Lead cost reduction and quoting activities

• Develop and implement lead time reduction projects

• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate agreements, including contracts, LTA, etc

• Establish category strategies and perform supplier rationalization

• Support supplier development and New Product Development sourcing

• Work with corporate global supply chain sourcing resources

• Drive inventory reduction with the supply team

Experience/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related required; MBA a plus. 5-7 years of procurement experience with a focus on strategic sourcing for at least 3 years. Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple business lines with limited oversight. Demonstrated experience with effectively managing & prioritizing multiple deliverables.
