What You'll Do
You will be a key player in the team in supporting our Service Providers initiatives by planning, coordinating, and executing technical processes from start to finish insights and supporting effective decision-making. Specifically,
Assist other Country Solutions Architects and Pre Sales Engineers in providing architectures and solutions from inception to delivery (this is NOT a delivery or Post Sales role).
Crafting sophisticated system configuration and Server/Switches platforms at an experienced level in diverse, demanding customer environments.
Through cross training, increase your knowledge and experience in other relevant Cisco business Unit including UCS and Networking.
Provide leadership and research capabilities supporting technical recommendations within guidelines.
Develop strong Account Teams relationships and trust to secure future business.
Contribute and develop Best Practices, strategies, policies, methodologies and documentation sets.
Assist and contribute in the development BOM, Statements of Work, proposals, Level of Effort, work breakdown schedules and engagement pricing.
Identify and drive continual process improvement demonstrating standard methodologies, standardization and automation to scale processes
Partner with business stakeholders to define clear measures to drive accountability and measure impact – both defining new and evolving existing metrics
Support quarterly business reviews with updated metrics to drive accountability and key business insights
You will identify impacts and gaps, document lessons learned, and assist in the ‘to be’ E2E process, aligning with key partners across Operations and other key functions.
The initiatives you will participate in will make it easier for our sales people and partners to sell, will ensure our customers love purchasing Cisco solutions and products and drive Cisco’s transformation. Who You Will Work With
In this position, you will be part of a dynamic team that is helping to transform Cisco to a more software-centric company. You will work with a multitude of organizations giving you a wide breadth of all that Cisco has to offer. You will work closely with Cisco Operations teams, Sales, BU’s, Partners and many other multi-functional teams. You will also have the opportunity to develop and influence communications and strategic organizational change.
You'll build a strong network of multi-functional partners across the company to help guide and drive execution of enrollments and onboarding of new offers/capabilities onto Cisco’s buying programs, that ultimately drive Cisco’s transformation Who You Are
You are a strategic problem solver, able to connect dots, drive alignment and collaboration and facilitate good communication. You have an ability to maintain relationships and expectations across different business functions, with proven experience and clear passion for diving into any area of the business or product. Fast to identify changing priorities, you are able to influence strong personalities to pivot. Your strong facilitation and interpersonal skills enable you to work optimally in a matrix environment. Your Experience:
8-10+ years of relevant work experience in program / project management, product management or offer enablement
Wide-breadth of multi-functional knowledge and expertise
Understanding of cloud computing architecture, design and implementations including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery models
Understanding of cloud offerings and ability to discuss cloud architectures; familiarity/Strength with AWS, Azure and related services
Understanding of Networking Technologies such as SDN, NFV, Network Orchestration or Cloud
Understanding of modern SW stacks, eg: VM, Docker, Kubernetes, Workload management, Orchestration etc.
Experience transforming and optimizing processes by driving people, process and technology initiatives
Excellent written and verbal communication, strong facilitation, communication and problem-solving skills.
BS required; MS a strong plus
Demonstrated leadership skills and experience working with large and cross-functional teams to set direction, plan & communicate
Demonstrable experience influencing cross functional leaders
PjM/PgM certification a plus
Solid track record of leading strategic initiatives
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Self-starter, ability to work independently
